Spin Classes

Spin Classes are coming to Peterson Bicycle Shop November 1st!

Ashamed that you can't get outside when it gets dark and cold? Do you look for motivation from friends but find they don't want to go outside either? Are you tired of the condescending and intimidating atmosphere inside fitness clubs? WE HAVE A SOLUTION!!! Join our spin classes every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:15pm and find out what it feels like to work out and have fun at the same time! Bring your friends!

The details:

~$15/ per session or $130 for 10... sign up at the shop and pay prior to class.

~November 1st and beyond: every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:15pm-7:15pm (sessions begin promptly at 5:45pm, so it is wise to arrive a bit before to get your things ready)

~We have 5 fluid trainers, so first come first serve on them. We are working to expand our fleet.

~Bring lots of water

~Bring your own towel(s)

~Your satisfaction is guaranteed

The season is changing. The days are shorter, commutes are darker, and its bloody cold in the morning, and… it’s raining. Is it even possible to go outside? Actually, yes… it can be fun…! It’s like going back to school; changing out equipment, exchanging war stories with friends, installing a radical new fender system... motivation is possibly at a new height! Come in and grab some lights that blind your friends, and some fenders to keep your wheel spray out of their eyes.

Okay, so the 2011 racing season is over. Some guy that no one’s heard of just won Lombardia. That was a BUZZ kill. But it doesn’t have to be like that for you! The beginning of the off-season is the best time to sign up for a coaching program and get your 2012 preparation under way. (Don’t tell anyone), but we’re going to start offering the best and most informed coaching and physiological testing on the eastside! Feel free to ask about it, and stay tuned as the vision comes into focus over the next few months. As always, our products and services are 100% committed to customer satisfaction.

The inaugural Peterson Bicycle Shop SUPER PRO event time frame is changing a bit. Dates are the same, 26^th: Meet and greet at the shop 4pm-5:30pm. VIP Dinner at nearby undisclosed location 7pm, ($150, register at the shop). 27^th: Ride with the pros from the shop 1:30pm-3pm. VIP dinner is catered by Jason Wilson winner of the 2010 James Beard award (Crush.com), wine list is created by Erik Liedhom.

Our Frequent Buyer Program is on! The cards came in late last week and we’ve been handing them out ever since. The concept is simple, buy more, save more. No hidden excitement- what you see is what you get. Inquire within.

The shop was starting to look mundane. Every day was the same. We’d close the shop, and there the bikes were. The next day, we opened, and there they were: same place as yesterday. The next day: repeat. The bikes were stuck in a rut; the shop was stuck in a rut. It was like a being lost within a labyrinth of bikes. But then something happened! It was so new and abstract. We rearranged the bikes! Yes, you heard us, we rearranged the bikes! No one’s doing that, but we are! Shakira came in the other day and said that we exemplified her concept of “bringing sexy back.”

Sean is back. He left on sabbatical to discover the finer things in life early September. His travels took him all over the world. Of his excursions he mentioned that he most enjoyed swimming with hippopotamuses in the Congo.

Winter gear has arrived. Legions of it! Think of it as an armada of soldiers who’ve come to get you through the winter. No matter what the winter brings, it won’t be able to defeat your defenses. There are a lot of ways to think of it. The point is that we have it, & we’ve got the best of it.

The Peterson Bicycle Frequent Buyer Program

We have two full suspension mountain bikes and a road bike. The mountain bikes have been ridden several times, the road bike has never been ridden. All of the bikes are in excellent condition.
